Ms. De La Cruz practices civil litigation, including complex product liability and personal injury claims. Prior to joining the firm, her practice focused on civil appeals involving personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation, and probate. Her appellate experience includes briefing on post-trial and mandamus proceedings before multiple Texas Courts of Appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms. De La Cruz graduated from the University of Texas School of Law where she served as staff editor of the Texas International Law Journal. During law school she served as a judicial intern and clerked for private law firms and the Travis County Attorney’s Office. She also represented children involved in the CPS system as a student attorney at UT School of Law’s Children’s Rights Clinic. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a paralegal and received early legal training at the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Ms. De La Cruz speaks fluent Spanish and conversational Italian. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking.
