Ms. Kottwitz represents clients in a variety of litigation across the country. She has represented companies and individuals in a wide range of litigation matters including product liability, insurance coverage, personal injury, commercial trucking and transportation, premises liability, contract disputes, and environmental disputes. Her experience includes developing litigation strategy, executing and planning discovery, conducting and defending depositions, advocacy in pre-trial matters, representing clients at mediation, and developing dispositive motions.
During law school, Ms. Kottwitz was a member of South Texas Law Review. She is the recipient of the Harry L. Reed Oil, Gas & Mineral Law Award. Ms. Kottwitz consistently made the Dean’s List through law school and received CALI Awards for Legal Research & Writing, Construction Law, Oil, Gas & Mineral Law, Marital Property, and Civil Trial Advocacy. She also served as an intern at the Texas Attorney General’s Office in Austin and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
